At the Atlanta, GA offices of this national insurance giant, GOTW’s numerous installations range from low planter inserts to soaring angular gardens, spread over numerous levels and claiming a large area in the lobby. As such, GOTW’s multi-dimensional gardens bring this open space to life with greenery, offering contrast with the monolithic architectural elements. The planter inserts top off low natural stone walls and are placed on the multi-tiered stadium seating, while two geometric vertical gardens, one of them 17’ high, are integrated into the angular natural stone walls. Composed of forest, fern, and eucalyptus species, GOTW’s installations play off the hard, shining stonework with biophilic depth and texture, adding excitement to this already compelling and daring space where bold architecture sets the stage.
