Elaine Construction Company, a long-standing, family owned, Massachusetts based firm, proudly features photos of their founding members on the wall behind the reception desk in their offices, next to stunning biophilic installations by GOTW. Seamlessly integrated into the millwork of the wood paneled divider wall and straddling an inside window, the gardens were custom designed to evoke Echo Bridge, a well-known historic arched structure spanning the Charles River in Newton, MA, the location of the offices. Incorporating vibrant biodiversity, the gardens feature the rich, all-natural tones of moss, fern, eucalyptus, and forest species to depict a landscape, highlighted with bursts of flower foliage to add color and vivacity. The effect is warm and inviting, not to mention tied to the locale as well as to the firm’s proud history.
